Many hotels and restaurants do not require a full time Sommelier. However, making sure that the staff is fully trained is the key to the success of any business. Many wine courses focus exclusively on the knowledge aspect of wine, neglecting the importance of service and more importantly customer interaction.
The trainings I am offering are designed to build the confidence of your staff so that they can deliver a more professional service. Some of the topics looked at during training are : talking about wine to a customer, opening a bottle of still/sparkling wine, service of wine and other drinks, upselling, food and wine pairings, etc.
